At The Smoking Ribs, Kenny Tran turned a backyard hobby into one of Garden Grove's favorite BBQ spots. Every cut is smoked low and slow over real wood using the techniques he spent years mastering.

Kenny Tran spent two decades perfecting his craft in the backyard before Garden Grove got to taste it. The Smoking Ribs is what happens when a lifelong obsession finally finds a front door.

One of my favorite experiences honestly. The girl at the front was very nice. Our food was amazing, great brisket and even better beef ribs. It’s a great deal with great flavor. Beef ribs were super meaty too. Sides were also delicious. Overall amazing.

I am shocked by how delicious everything was here. The location is such a hole in the wall that everything that was served here is worthy of being in a five star restaurant. Every side, every meat, and the blueberry corn muffins was cooked to perfection. I want this place to get more attention but I also want to keep this place as a secret. It's that good.

The brisket was phenomenal. Juicy, flavorful, well marbled, great crust, and fork tender. The service was great. The staff was friendly, efficient and welcoming. The sauteed green beans and onion rings left a little to be desired but, overall a great experience. Their menu basically makes you choose 2 sides in order to get the brisket and my suggestion is to offer it by itself. It's so good it can stand on it's own without needing any sides to add value. Just my 2 cents. Keep up the great BBQ!

Wow!!! 1000/100 absolutely delish. I would even dare say THE best bbq restaurant hands down. So incredibly delicious. From the meat, to the sides, and the customer service, everything was absolutely superb. We will definitely. E coming back.
